The agreement between you and Arcadia Style when you use this website and place an order.
These terms and conditions apply to your use of arcadiastyle.com (the “Site”) and to every order you place through it. By browsing the Site or placing an order you confirm that you accept these terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Site. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on the Site at the moment you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order; a contract between you and Arcadia Style is formed when we dispatch your items. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch — for example where an item is unavailable, where a pricing or description error is discovered, or where we cannot verify payment — and in that case you will be refunded in full without delay.
Please check your order details carefully before submitting. If you notice a mistake after ordering, contact us as soon as possible at contact@arcadiastyle.com — we can usually amend an order any time before it is dispatched.
We take care to describe and photograph every product accurately, including fabric character, fit notes and available sizes. Colours may render slightly differently depending on your screen. Measurements in our size guides are garment guidance, not body measurements, and small manufacturing variations are normal for fashion items. If a piece you receive differs materially from its description, our returns policy applies and we will make it right.
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include applicable UK tax. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you commit to an order. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect an order that has already been confirmed.
In the unlikely event of an obvious pricing error — where an item is listed at a price that is clearly wrong — we are not obliged to supply the item at the incorrect price. We will contact you with the correct price and give you the choice to proceed or cancel with a full refund.
Payment is taken at the time of ordering through our secure payment providers. We never see or store your full card details; payments are processed over encrypted connections by providers who are certified to industry security standards.
Orders are dispatched within 24–48 hours of confirmation. Estimated delivery times, charges and destinations are set out on our delivery information page and at checkout. Delivery estimates are made in good faith but are not guaranteed dates; we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs processing or events outside our reasonable control. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery.
For international orders, any import duties or local taxes charged by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.
We offer a 30-day return period on unworn items with tags attached, in addition to your statutory rights. The full process — including how to start a return, refund timescales and the small number of exemptions — is described on our returns policy page, which forms part of these terms.
You agree to provide accurate contact and delivery information when ordering, and to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to interfere with the Site's operation, probe its security, scrape its content at scale, or use it in a way that could damage our name or services.
All content on the Site — including text, product descriptions, graphics, logos, page layouts and compilation of the catalogue — is the property of Arcadia Style or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may browse, print or share pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction or use requires our prior written permission.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — such as loss of profit or loss of opportunity — arising from your use of the Site, and our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
We supply products for private, domestic use only. We are not liable for business losses if you use products for commercial purposes.
We are not responsible for failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control, including industrial action, extreme weather, carrier failures or restrictions imposed by authorities. If such an event occurs we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible, and if it substantially affects your order you may cancel for a full refund.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force. A failure by us to enforce any right under these terms is not a waiver of that right. These terms are personal to you and may not be transferred. These terms, together with our privacy policy, delivery information and returns policy, form the entire agreement between us in relation to your use of the Site.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — which means consumers living elsewhere in the UK may bring proceedings in their local courts.
